Guys an idea what a 2018 GSA TE with Alarm is worth with only 787 miles on the clock in red?

Sadly she has to go, so before I list her, I just wanted to get a view of approx. value. Some farkles added - some bought but not added yet. My guess is ~£14k... any thots?

Just can't justify keeping a bike that I never get around to using - and rather someone else take over and actually ride her.

I am thinking Autotrader - any other avenue ?

Cheers

No reason to sell, a lot of us have bikes in the garage just doing the same.................it's what men do:D

Best start you can make is to spend £12 and subscribe to this site. You will then be able to see just how good the for sale section is and your chances of selling on here with a lot less hassle than Autotrader or Ebay are pretty good. A bit more detail about the bike and some pictures will get some more interest and informed opinion. Or not!

Ebay is not of much help here. Only 2 bikes sold and the closest to your as new description sold for £13.5k. It did have 18k miles on the clock in showroom condition. Autotrader lists 38 GSAs from £12k with over 20k miles on the clock to £14k for about 3k miles on the clock.

If the bike is finance free and you dont “need” the cash then i would keep it.

1. A biker always wants/ needs a bike to call his own.
2. You can pick up riding again at any time that suits you.
3. No bike in the garage and things will gradually slide to a state that you will never ride again - shame.
4. Have you thought about joining a local club to ride more ?

I dont ride that often and it must cost me a lot of £ per mile but i wouldnt be without one just yet.
Just my thoughts....
Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

I would pitch it at the very top end, its a new bike, 16k on ebay or best offer, see how it goes

No it isn’t it’s a 2 & 1/2 year old bike. It’s low mileage should make it stand out and be more desirable than a similar bike age bike with say 18,000 miles on it. But be realistic and don’t expect too great a premium from the mileage, particularly as lately many, many bikes will have fewer than the usual average mileage.

Picked up a 2018 GSA TB three months ago, with 1000 miles. No alarm but full set of panniers/top box, Akrapovic exhaust and nav 6. £14500 delivered to my garage. GLWS.

I’m not riding much because instead of riding 50 miles to work round trip 6 days a week my employer asked me to take the van home with me. It’s a no brainier. I also have a car. The bike sits in the garage because I cannot see myself without one. Also I’d be loath to loose my ncb. My bikes usually have high mileage for a bike but this doesn’t. Some day my boss will tell me to leave the van at work. Till then I’ll rest my bike except for a trip or 2. If the pandemic ever allows. JJH

I have a badge just like that. HSF Gut early 80s.
Can’t PM you as you are not a fully paid up member, so that must make you a sooty, I was on 3 then in structures bay.

Carry on with the sales advice citizens, nothing to see here, just a couple of old codgers pulling up a sandbag and telling war stories

No, rigger. On team 3 HSF for 6 months, minors then structures bay for over 2 years.

I'm not sure many of us can happily have 15k bikes sitting doing nothing other than depreciating.

But some of us can afford to keep buying "wrong" bikes then selling them 3 months later at a substantial loss. :blast

Im sure some on here have a lot more than 14k invested in vehicles that we are not using, at least until next week hopefully, surely nobody rides adventure bikes between September to May anyway:eek:

Thanks guys ... I've put it on Autotrader at £13995. All your points are valid - particularly the one about keeping it!

I'll see how I get on...
