SORRY NO DOGS and CAMPERVAN PARKING.

I remember you as a young boy!

Thats Rusty, Sparky is a whole different dog. He's resigned himself to the fact that he won't be getting any hog this year.

Just pre-booked for two humans :clap

I appreciate that dog-sitting responsibilities might impact upon some potential attendees, and others woudl want to have their dogs there for reasons more than "having to" but I have played rugby on public grounds in the past where other people walked their dogs and left crap everywhere.

As well as being particularly unpleasant, I'm sure there must be some serious health issues involved in having your face ground into a recent moist dog turd, so I can fully understand the rugby club's strict enforcement of this rule.

Campervans? Do what Trippy suggests and put a tent up for the day/evening, and sleep in your camper van.

Myself personally, incognito, contacted the rugby club and asked about certain parking facilities....
It was confirmed to me that I WOULD have been allowed to park in the previously agreed [ jan2007]designated area [ in front of or beside Changing room/bar facility] if i was going to VIEW a Rugby match.
So I can't see why Bakerman moved the goalposts, but it IS his PRIVATE PARTY and HE can interpret, or Make any rules he wishes !!

But you won't be viewing a rugby match will you? So it wasn't Steve's decision that you have to park in the car park.

If you want a base with in the site for sitting and drinking close to the others I have a BIG Cabanon tipi/hut tent that Euan and I use in Cornwall. Is great and I can have it up in less than 10 mins.
We could take that and pop it up close to the action with a few chairs :thumb2

And I'll bring it down to you before so you can take it up.
Like I said its huge inside, I can jump up and down inside it and I can pop it up in a flash when I get there after lunch friday

.....

Keith - That's a top offer! Can't understand why you didn't take it up :nenau

Well, here's a possible solution - lets organise a rugby match.

15 of you, one of me.......

Sorted?

Reasons given were, Rugby club will not allow parking in that area because of damage to pitch.:blast
WRONG. Rugby club WILL allow parking in that area because it's not part of pitch and is in fact used for specific vehicle parking on match days QUOTE]

Perhaps they feel there's a difference between parking for a couple of hours during a match and an old fart squatting in his hippy van handing out strong cider to innocent passers by for a weekend:thumb :D

Cheers Tim, that made me smile :thumb2

The hard standing is closer to the bar than where we were camping last year ;)

I can't see what the problem is :nenau

Camper van inbetween the marquee and bar surely isn't a good idea, i don't want to stagger around an obstacle carrying a round of drinks, bad enough with a clear stagger without a tour bus in the way.

£50 quid for a stay some pig in a roll and duff nuts !!!

Kin ell thats cheap!!

last time I attended I got charged 20 quid for a one hour stay and a roll I didnt ask for
