Betws is quiet so I have a wander...... costs me 20p for a piss.

Take the slippy back road from Betws to the Ugly Cottage then on to one of my favorite areas.

This gate reflects the contours of the hills

A great area and been playing around here on and off since I was a kid

Pen Yr Ole Wen, it's a flipping slog walking straight up there

I've always like Llanberis, there's a youthful energy there in modern times but I bet it wasn't always so in it's quarrying heyday.

The locals are friendly

And I eventually found my camera bag
