Sound splitter gone haywire

Chaps, any ideas?

Out of the blue 660 started to be problematic. If I switch off ignition without turning off unit, when I re-start the sound has dropped out from helmet speakers onto speaker within the unit, also the speech sounds like the 'chipmunks'.

Switch off - on x 2 seems to cure the problem.

Garmin technical suggest a master reset. Done this to no avail.

Any ideas ?

Also lost Sound

Another big European trip, another Garmin Failure.
The sound will not connect to the Autocom when the unit is in the Bike Mount , continuing to come through the unit speaker. Did you resolve this problem on your unit?
I suspect the bike mount is at fault and needs replacing. Any suggestions anyone?

Are both of these units recognising that they're in the motorcycle mount? It sounds as if they think they're in the automotive mount.

It might be worth checking manually and resetting them in motorcycle mode....
