After the excitement of the Goodwood Convoy there was a lot of chat about a monthly meet in the south coat area. Most but not all seemed to favour Sunday but not the last Sunday.
Do we still want to do this?
How about the 1st Sun each month @ 11.00 ish at Loomies next month Box Hill next month Goodwood next month Sammy Millers Museum Cafe next month Mudeford Quay
Just some suggestions to see if anyone has any other ideas,It may be also an idea to have some summer eve ride out eg Poole Quay, Red Lion Avebury, Portsdown Hill, Red Lion Stubbington etc etc.

Good idea Brig. I did mention a curry night, or something similar. I will have to undertake extensive research first of course to find a suitable venue. Tough job but someone has to do it :D I'll probably set up a new thread

Never been to Sammy Miller so quite fancy that. Done Boxhill & Ace need to do something completly different.Count me in.

OK my idea was that as a fair few people seemed to want a regular monthly meet around the sunny south coast area.So perhaps rather than meeting at the same place every month it could be somewhere different each month have a cup of tea and a chat then go for a ride out, hence my list of suggestion.Something like, for the first month meet at sammy millers cafe about 11.00 ish cup of tea and a chat then ride to Westbury in Wilts about 55 miles another cup of tea and chat then we all feck off home.Next month meet somewhere different so every one dosnt have to travel millions of miles to get to the meet in the first place.
The first Sun in Apiril is the 5th ,this may coincide with old rascals French invation though.

Just a quick note to say Butser Hill just past Queen Elizabeth country park is very scenic, but there arent much in the way of pubs, and there isnt a burger van or anything remotely interesting, but the car park is quite big and gravel so you can all practise your emergency bike picking up techniques after you tried to doughnut it to face the lovely but now heavily dustladen view of the surrounding countryside, oh and radio mast....oh and think its on the A3,in fact just checked on google earth and it is too
