All for less than one day at Lords…..We have tickets for Sydney. As my brother says, we can have a relaxed time as it will all be over by then.He is going to every test.........probably
claim you never got the memo about virtual, head for nearest pub, do the virtual meeting there, get even more drunk and still claim expensesThere’s a bit of a plan forming in Chez Toddy!
I am supposed to be in a client meeting until 5.30pm on the 17th, and the client is based near Tottenham Court Road, but the lazy millennials employed by said client want to do it as a virtual meeting so they can work from home. I’m thinking I might press for a get down and dirty face to face encounter!
I could then stumble out of one meeting, all sweaty and confused, and spend the rest of the evening in another meeting drinking fine ale and feasting, whilst still being all sweaty and confused, but at least putting all transportation costs down on expenses
I have mentioned said plan to Mrs T and she has posed a few questions which I am hoping you can help answer:
If the answer to any of the above is yes, then she is very happy for me to attend.
- Will I get very drunk
- Will I get lost and not be able to find the Elizabeth Line home
- Will I fall asleep on the train and end up in Reading
- Will I get mugged for my Rolex
- Will an Islamist attack me with a bladed instrument
- Will I get off at Maidenhead Station but then fall asleep under a bush in the park opposite
Byron Bay is lovely. He is a lucky man. Livin' the dream!!Rory is going to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, with tickets for the first two days of each test. All for less than one day at Lords…..
He has then signed with a rugby club in Byron Bay, with accommodation and a job set up.
Not envious at all.
Particularly as I’m driving him to the airport at 4am tomorrow…
