South London BMW

It's a deal, but remember the bacon rolls are only available on Saturday’s ! "SLM Bacon Credit" agreed for Igsy !!!:bounce1

Do you do sausage rolls instead..............only joking.......well I have had my bike serviced after all. New guy on Service Desk seemed very helpful although for some strange reason the wrong mileage was entered onto the invoice and then tranferred to the Service book. Minor point but a little bit annoying as my 6000 mile service records imply I had only done 2600 miles.

Due to the bike being a "work horse" it was fairly dirty when it went in and even dirtier when it came out, it's a shame they don't get washed as part of the service. (more cost i guess?).

Doing the once over checking everything ok when I got home I noticed the bolt that holds the tax disc holder was loose and had I not tightened it I have no doubt I would have lost it.

All in all the service was good, will I be back again, yes of course i will, and due to the mileages I cover it will be back for another 6K service in approx 8 weeks. (Maybe a discount/loyalty scheme could be set up for customers who are such regular visitors)

Nice to see Tony the sales guy, always very helpful and makes time to talk to you - keep up the good work.

Yes, "balls-up" springs to mind here. We do have a valeter, good guy and does a great job in fact, but this one slipped through the net it seems. On realising this, I locked the new aftersales manager (Leigh) in the store room and inserted the nozzle of one of those tennis ball firing machines through the crack in the door, aimed it just below waist height and blasted him for 5 minutes at circa 20 balls a second (that’s 6,000 balls !!)! Darn near killed him, but I can tell you, your bike will be clean next time !!!!

That will save me washing mine before it gets its 6k service on Friday!

Wonder what delight I will get as a loan bike - fancy a spin on something different:augie

Only just got it washed though - had to wait for it to be done, but it saves me a job for the weekend.

Had a Red (faster one) 1200GSA as loan bike. I had forgotten how planted the GSA felt when "making progress". The only problem was without a rear spray deflector fitted behind the number plate and no mudsling I ended up covered in crap with the old filthy left boot :thumb
