OK so its nothing to do with the 'brand' and everything to do with setting out your stall like Easyjet and Ryanair and it sucks, what's wrong with listing the shelf price inclusive of all charges and let the punter haggle for a cash deal![]()
Yet, if I understand you correctly, we see lots of complaints on UKGSer that Easyjet and Ryanair are rip-off merchants with their hidden costs.
Surely, the shop did set out its stall, telling the customer there was a surcharge for a credit card purchase but, I assume, no similar surcharge for a debit card or cash purchase? There was no suggestion that the shop would not have bargained (or simply maintained the ticket price) for a cash deal, or did I miss something?
Still, it matters little, as SLM have cleared the matter up rtaher nicely.....
......but don't let that stop anoyone ranting in future
