I too got poor service from SLM a lot of messing around on my part....they couldn't really give a toss. Got my money refunded as well.....business taken to Vines.

fair play to S.L.M.

fair play to S.L.M.
the matter has now been concluded to my satisfaction.
S.L.M. have written a letter of apology and further more they have covered the cost of the aftermarket hugger i purchased from a 3rd party (something they were in no way obliged to do) and have also covered my travel expenses (to get home when i left the bike at the roadside) in full (something they were also not obliged to do).

Good Experience

I bought my GS from South London Motorcycles last autumn and I thought it was a pleasure to deal with them. When I picked up the bike the time spent on explaining everything and introducing me to staff was very impressive. They even made sure my wife was plied with coffee while she waited.

They phoned me a couple of times over the next few weeks to ensure everything was OK. Very efficient when it was serviced - and replaced the broken zip on my jacket while I waited.

Phoned them with a minor warrenty problem, was asked to bring the bike straight in and they had a loan bike ready to go as soon as I got there.

I have come across others who bought bikes from them and the comments are similar. from my experience I would recommend them.

Mistakes will be made from time to time, and of course they can prove to be inconvenient to say the least, but seems to me that SLM have done the right thing at the end of it all. Good on 'em.
