I am now the proud owner of a R1150GS adventure (second hand)
many many weeks ago i said i'd have the bike and paid the deposit, explaining that my Part Ex VFR had a private plate that needed taking off so the swap wouldn't happen until this had cleared DVLA (didn't want to loose the reg)
it took DVLA over a month to do this simple change and at no time did i get any preasure off the garage about this unknown time scale.
I on the other hand was feeling very guilty at the delay knowing that they could have sold the bike 10 times over. on collection the tank was full and a deal on tyres offered and accepted.
I now have it, it is in great condition and this saturday it will be "tested" in mid/north wales.
