Hi all, just wanted to say a big thanks and recommend Southport. Picked up my 1100 GS yesterday and the service was excellent.
Will certainly be using the shop again.
Special thanks to Peter for all his help - I walked to the Post Office to tax the bike and he gave me a tank of petrol in return. Spot on.

Good customer service !!

Picked my 1200 GSA up from Williams, full tank of fuel :) and it was taxed when I got there :) :)

Terrible dealer, made me do less exercise than yours :spitfire

Great sales staff over at S'port Superbikes,I bought my bike new a couple of years ago, everything was 100%. Over the years I do feel they have lost their professionalism, sending a customer to tax his own bike?! :eek

I phoned up for a price on a service and got somebody eating while on the phone to me a couple of weeks back, I couldn't believe it!

:blast

I'm very, very happy with the service received from the Southport Superbikes crew - both on sthe ales and service side of things. (I travel from London to deal with them..!) :thumb

SSB will always get a thumbs up from me. Any question or help required - see Jim Carrie (aftersales and servicing manager), you simply can not hope to find a more professional and curteous chap.

(no connection at all other than being a continuously very satisfied customer)

No pleasing some people is there! perhaps you would prefer that they don't answer the phones when they are on their lunch hour...i have been there on many occasions and noticed that they still answer the phones and help people when they should be on their (lunch hour)..
I have just spent the weekend away with southport superbikes on the bmw offroad course..........all i can say is that it was well sorted and everybody was made to feel special.....and as if nothing was too much trouble for them...i have had several bikes from them and have always found the service to be first rate .........:thumb2 :thumb2 :thumb2

Yeah I know I have dealt with S'port Superbikes for years now and have never had any problems hence why I've always gone back! I back up my last statement by saying that standards have slipped in the 15 plus years I've been going to S'port Superbikes.

I wasn't aware that anyone had a lunch hour at 10am :augie

Had my bike serviced there yesterday and some other minor things attended to.As usual everything from booking in droping off etc to the service itself was done very efficiently and at a reasonable cost.Good knowledgable friendly staff and they even found me a courtesy bike to match my helmet and jacket:cool:This is how all dealers should be:thumb

Thankyou

:beerjug: your very welcome Mr. . . . . Taken me a long time to work out who you are but i've finally managed it. Hope you will keep coming back thanks for the nice comments
:angel

Had my first service at SSB. You can't fault them one bit, they know you are paying a premium for your ride so they make sure that you are attended to, and are happy.

+1 more happy SSB customer.

(Doc Savage, what bike have you got - I'll keep an eye out for you as I'm only in Rainhill... I have a yellow 1200 GS, usually with a topbox on, and always with a 'sporty' exhaust note IYKWIM)....

Alright Dave, I've got a white 1200 GSA, side boxes, blue suit. (got Job lot as I gave the old gear way)

Some motocross riders were outside a cafe at Hawes on Sun asking me in good fun if I had bought the BM socks as well.......
