Hi, i picked up a Garmin SP III all works fine just what i need really for the odd bit of GPS work i'm after...( no budget for £nnnnn Devices on a 3K bike!)
Anyways, the GPS card reader is playing up, i've down loaded the drivers from the install disks but when i plug in the USB to my XP laptop it says that the USB device has malfunctioned!
i have been able to load maps to the card whilst in the GPS via the serial port but as mentioned b4 this takes for ever...
So Q1 is this a common fault, i have searched but could not see anything?
Q2 if it is knackered does anybody have one knocking around they do not need / want!
Q3 does anybody know if you can still buy them new??? ( At a sensible price!)
