Hi,
I have searched the forum for all the relevant info and being a bit of a technical numpty i need to ask the following question,

I currently have an SP111 deluxe, 128 card with Mapsource V5 and I am thinking of selling it to fund the purchase of a new quest.

I would like to use my GPS for autorouting (to postcodes)

it will spend 99% of its time in uk with an annual trip to europe ie italy

it will swap between car and bike

I have good eyesight so the smaller screen is not a problem!

would the quest be a better bet or should i keep the trusty SP111

Regards Tom

If there is anyone around Redditch who wouldn't mind taking a technophobe through how to use their SP111 i will pay for the beer!

I did this!!!!

I swapped my SPC III for the new Quest at the end of last year.

The main reasons were

It has the faster calculation and recalculation speeds

It is SO much smaller it is easy to slip into your pocket when you park the bike up (the SPC was a bit too bulky to take with you which meant it had to be put into secure luggage if parking up somewhere)

I'm a gadget freak and its nice to be able to sit with a mobile phone sized bit of kit plotting your next days route (so much quicker) over a meal or in the hotel room

IMHO it is superior to the SPC III - BUT the SPC is still an amazing unit when you think about maps etc.

Sherps ;)
