Costco Limited is an 80% owned subsidiary of Costco Wholesale Corporation which is registered in Issaquah, Washington and listed on the NYSE.
So far as I can see, neither company has an interest in the other.
Since cartels are illegal, any similarities in pricing must be due to market competitiveness.

I went out and got one today. They have loads left in Aberdeen. This will of course mean that my StreetPilot ColourMap will be up for sale in the very near future complete with Touratech mount. Anyone interested????

Don't despair Dave get a refund, I bought mine in September and they have just refunded the difference and I only had my club card with me. See my comments on Nice people etc.
I reasoned that they would play ball with my suggestion that if I took back my original set and said I was not satisfied they'd end up with a second-hand set and then I buy a new one at the reduced price, so instead I said just refund the price difference and I'll keep the original as its all set up....it worked and I got £152.75 cash back..Christmas come early!

Sadly my local Costco did not play ball with me. They refused point blank to refund the difference. So, looks like I'll be taking it back to take advantage of their refund policy.

What price did you pay for yours, £705 including VAT?? It might be worth trying the local store again now that 2 of their stores have done it.

Paid £705, think I got it first week in october, Was going to try to get a refund of the price differance, but while waiting in the que, realised someone was having a bad day (real stroppy customer), thought easiest thing was to go for a full refund and then buy again once prices had settled down.
Only problem now is I quit fancy a 176c, so dunno wot to do........
