I know it's only cheap but I'm looking at a second set of Spada gear to get me over a summer trip. Has anyone had any experience with the brand ???

Yeah I rate it. In terms of what you get for your money, I think it's top drawer. Certainly saw me ok round Spain and the rest of Europe last year.

Tapatalked from my MotoX Dev Edition.

Had Spada & RST for the past couple of years, both at the cheaper end, both very very good, never let me down.

My experience, I have been all over Europe in my Spada gear and been through some extreme conditios torrential rain hail sleet and snow and my Spada gear kept me completely dry, while some friends in more expensive bike clothing were whining and whinging of leaks.

I would highly recommend Spada gear, excellent value. :thumb

Spada does what it says on the tin!

I've just sold my Spada Dakar jacket & trousers, mainly because I have a more expensive pair I use all the time. I rated them and if I was on a budget then I'd definitely buy again.

I bought some trousers for a trip to Normandy with some folk from here in 2009/10. I was a full time student so didn't want to spend a lot. I bought these http://www.ghostbikes.com/2149-spada-summit-motorcycle-trousers.html#var1=Black - I am still wearing them and have used hem every summer for trips overseas etc. Waterproof still after 6 years, vented so work well with a wicking base layer in hot weather. I'd certainly use the brand again.
