Just picked up a cheap heated Spada farenheit jacket at NEC Bike show for £48!

Just want it for winter hacking/commuting but I've noticed that there is a heated liner, but the plug is gone (hence the £48 I guess).

The connecteor plug is still in the heated lining, with some dangly wires, I was wondering if I could connect it to a unit to plug into my GS?

Anyone out there got any suggestions of what unit I should look out for and can it be wired up by the technically challenged!

thanks

Eugene

Now:)

I had / still have one the jacket normally has a heat control on a box, the bare leads (X2) go straight to the battery via an in line fuse, I put a connector from a Chilli Jacket on so I could disconnect it easily but any 2 pin connectors should do.

Re: Connecting jacket

Thanks Whatton.

I have an outlet plug on my GS and was going to use that to connect to the jacket.

I thought it might be possible to jerry-rig a bmw pluq to the wires in the jacket liner and connect it to the bike power-source that way?

Whadayathink?

Thanks

Eugene
