All packed and ready to leave home in the morning. Day 0 is meeting friends for lunch at the Aviator Café at Gloucestershire Airport. A pleasant place not far from my old house where I saw the last Vulcan's low fly past on its final flight, and you can sometimes catch a Lancaster refuelling or waiting before a display flight. Jet Age Museum nearby.

I will then venture down to the English Riviera for a night before catching the ferry to Santander in N.Spain from Plymouth on Wednesday.

Does my arse look big in this? Certainly wider than the RS with diddy 21 litre side cases.

Have great trip. Have you changed your tag to the bike registration number?

what's a tag?
That peage type thing. I guess one needs to change the number plate of the vehicle on the Fulli nomade site or can you have numerous vehicles registered at the same time?

and another one

quite funny considering the recent exchanges we had in the thread I started about this very topic about ANPR.

One good reason for a "personalised" / "cherished" plate :DD

And it works for ferry bookings as well.
Do you mean a vanity plate? If so surely that is only on one vehicle and would therefore need a change of plate if using a different vehicle?

If that's what you prefer to call it. It can swap along a line of bikes, though I've only done as one is sold, and another one is bought.

I still don’t understand how you can use various vehicles on your tag but only have one number plate? How can you have your vanity plate on say your bike, your car, your Motorhome all at the same time?

Room with a view. Palace Hotel, Paignton. Dinner queuing up on the lawn
You rebel you. Still using the GB sticker. We did get asked a couple of years ago in Le Touquet if we were Ukrainian due to the UK sticker on the Motorhome number plates. 😂

I'm the only guest at Posada Ormas. Dinner, 3 courses 15 euro, house red 8.
Pont Avenue front door broke, delayed an hour as they turned the boat around to leave by the rear
Some pics of the day.

Rubber side down, eyes on the road Wessie and enjoy your jollies.

Pleasant ride today through numerous wooded valleys of the Basque region. Mostly forest with pasture and a few vineyards as typified by the photo. The other one is the free parking for bikes near Hotel Yolda in Pamplona. My bike is the only one with any lock. IMG_20250525_120832579_HDR.jpgIMG_20250525_145206505_HDR.jpg
