Got one for the 1150 Pilot light.. bright or what :thumb

Having had Les Wassalls fine HID conversion on dipped (1150) the pilot bulb looked a bit .. well... browny yellow....

Now this baby.. same white as the HID :bounce1

How did the fitting of the bulb go? how did you getr it to fit in the reflector?,
(how sad can one get, asking questions like this on Xmas day? )bahh humbug.
happy Xmas to all dave gs. (wishing he was back in ushia).:beer::beer:

Thanks Gart.. yes it is the Xenon white one.... slip of the mouse :thumb If the pilot light on the 1200 is the same as the pilot on the 1150 it should fit with no problems...

Dave, it was a straight forward swap from the bulb in the smaller lens .. no modifications, and the 180 degree light spread makes it look as white as the HID dip :thumb2

Picture doesn't quite do it justice :thumb The only thing I had to do is swap the two power terminals around, the LED will only work with power flowing one way, and mine must have been wired up the other way.....

I succumbed to the temptation of both H7 kits (dip/main) and (H11 spots). You reckon this bulb would do an '07 1200 GSA? Pilot is, as you say, very yellow in comparison

Don't think they will work with the Canbus, you will get a bulb fail, but they located in the next town to me so will go and see them and ask if anything can be done for the 1200,

Gart, Just so you're aware Ultra led's are closed until 2nd Jan... I ordered mine and got the delivery within a couple of days, so they're pretty on the ball.. but I'd expect the first week in Jan for yours due to the holidays :thumb2

Bought one of these but it won't do 1200. My bulb is the little 100% glass jobby. Dash bulb I think, so I have one of these in white if anyone cares to purchase. £6.99 cost. I do it for £5.00.

Pm sent: I have two of the 100% glass shrouded ones after doing the opposite!..... :augie...turns out the 1100 is a bayonet fitting one! :blast

Doh

:blast Not suitable for the K1200S as the fitment is different :rob :monkeypiz

Got mine today and fitted it this afternoon.......... Very bright for a side light:eek: and soooo easy to fit...:thumb
