Spare BMW alarm fobs

I've got a couple of BMW alarm transmitter "fobs" as supplied with my R1200GS. As I no longer have the bike, are the fobs any use to anyone else? Can they be reprogrammed to control another alarm? Or should I just throw them in the bin?

If anyone wants them, let me know.

(PS no jokes about nicking my old bike, it's in bits in a container somewhere)
