Spares urgently today near Southampton/Bournemouth....

Help, picked up New bike (GSA) yesterday. It's scruffy and a bit neglected and I'm due on the ferry tomorrow back to Portugal. It's a fast 1000k day on the other side and I want to change all oils and the filter. Looking for somewhere to get a filter and crush washers this morning! close as possible- I'm between Southampton/Bournemouth at the moment.

Any thoughts on reusing the crush washers? I know they're supposed to crush once! Maybe Hein Gericke in Souhampton will have a filter.

I'm sure some local will be along with an offer of help or the address of a nearby dealer but if not; reuse the washers and halfords will have a filter and oil.

I wouldn't normally recommend buying anything with the name Champion [pension stealing bastards that they are] on it, but if yer desperate.

Thanks Boxer- would never have thought of it. Went off them a few years back when I went in and asked for a universal choke cable. I was told vehicles these days don't have a choke! I'll give them a call.

I probably should have looked before I posted, I have a filter box with the tool in it but no filter.

I do have a bag with new washers in it but am not sure which is which, if you measure the washer or can find out the size you are welcome to it if you want to collect.

Went back to Hein NeinDanke- and they said ja. The admittedly very nice lady had been looking at the wrong book. Still, she said she'd beat herself up all day cos of it.
