I've just got myself the Connected unit. One thing that is missing is the warning for Speed Cameras. I miss that feature. The Nav VI had it, plus it had a nice feature of showing you which lane to be in. But the main thing is no Speed Camera warming. Is there something that I need to do to get it either working or downloaded?

Can I be controversial and ask if you have the standard Mark 1 eyeball fitted?
Use forward observation to read signage, Road furniture and flow of the traffic, that way you won’t need an App telling you where a camera is, you’ll see it.

Where I am there are a few on a stretch of road that I use daily, having a beep in your ear reminds you of their presence in a what is normally a very dull ride that can easily drift as the cameras are in artificially low speeds for a short section, then back up to normal conditions. I also ride in Wales......... enough said. The bings were a handy feature and not solely relied upon.
I tried using an app called AmiGo when I first got the Connected cradle & used the Connected app. It was ok & as it is made by TomTom alerted you to cameras. But now I’ve gone back to using Waze as I didn’t like the Connected app-especially the guy’s Teutonic monotone voice barking instructions at me!
I absolutely agree and I think people forget they are an aid to riding and any aid is there to help you. The fact I can focus more on my riding (and those around me) that little more makes me safer and makes these aids worth there weight. Its about giving you that little reminder, especially when you're on a unfamiliar road etc.
Absolutely bob-on @Skudd, we have barely embraced the 20th Century yet over here so there aren’t too many on my routes.
I had also presumed you had to look down to see the warning so appreciate your (and @Bigcats) explanation that it’s a beep in your ear that does the warning.
