The one on the right in this picture was supplied to my pal Motorcycling Mo for his enormous 1150 GSA as a SpeedBleeder.

I looks nothing like the silver Goodridge item on the left which is fitted to my bike.
But on the Bay, all the so-called Goodridge SpeedBleeder pictures are like the one on the right.

So ¿ is this a new version with a tiny one-way valve hidden somewhere inside - if so, how does one open and close the nipple for the start and end of the bleeding process ?
To see the foto, right-click on it and choose "Open in New Window".

Any help from someone who's recently fitted a Goodridge would be muy apreciado, 'cos I think the supplier sent a bog standard bleeder nipple and not a SpeedBleeder with the one-way ball-valve.

This is the list of people I'd trust with my bike

A quick google suggests opening 1/2 to 1/4 turn, pressure on foot/hand brake will bleed fluid and the check valve should shut preventing air entry on release then tighten when finished

Speedbleeders - the equivalent of putting instant coffee in the microwave.

Well it does keep the Coffee dry

Thanks Andi - your Google search was more informative than mine.
However, Merlin Motorsport in the UK has a drawing of the new titchy Goodridge SB on their website.

Neil - I was delighted to find an unmarked 1960s Coffee Percolator on the web whilst I was in the UK during the heatwave. Remember those ? Bit like an old-fashioned Diabolo that sat on the hob. A big coffeepot jug usually in ceramic, with a basket sitting on top of a vertical tube surrounding the electrically heated element in the bottom.
The water boiled and then shot up the tube, hit the lid and drained down through the grounds in the basket at just less than boiling. Making a memorable bloop-bloop sound until the thermo switched off the juice. Thus you had a full pot of coffee all ready and kept warm.
Still, they went out of fashion 'cos most people thought the coffee tasted burnt.
Probably you !

Yep looks very similar to the gif I posted the spring loaded ball bearing seals the opening on return.
