Thanks for the suggestions. Had another go at a repair, 24 hour wait for the 2 pack glue of go full strength. Fingers cross.

Which part are you trying to glue?

The aluminium gear in the centre of the photo. The gear no longer grips the shaft. I have filed a flat on the drive shaft, drizzled araldite down a needle onto the shaft /gear. Fingers crossed.

Miles are now clocking up OK, looks to have done the trick. Hopefully will hold permanently?
