Got a chance of a SPIII, but no 128mb card or 2nd Disc, does anyone know how much the disc will cost and a replacement card,

It's new, but bits missing, hoping to get the price right down before I purchase it for a 30day trial.

Careful, has it already been registered? The 128Mb card is expensive (£160 thru Expansys) though search this thread for alternate supply at around half price....

Also is there any damage from when it fell off the truck??

what do you mean by 'second disk'? I'd check with Garmin that the software you're missing is available in the UK and note the price - unlock codes are not cheap. You may be able to get around the problem by upgrading to V6.0 - that should cost £100ish ($150).

Give Garmin an Email - they are an excellent company to deal with, in my experience, and have always supplied good advice & replied promptly to my questions.

Given the low(er) cost of new SPIIIs at the moment, your secondhand one would have to be substantially cheaper for me to buy it if I felt it was in any way dodgy (has it a guarantee, for example?)

Many thanks, I'm going to stick to the Garmin V I bought with a connection to my iPaq & CF Card (254mb) this should cover everything I want whilst away.
