A beautiful day for biking so I headed for the hills:

The road is narrow, badly surfaced and full of bumps and dips, ideal for adv biking :evil

Straight stretches of road are, thankfully, a rarity:

We had a very cold spring, there's still a smattering of snow on the hills:

The bends keep on coming at you:

Ideal conditions for running in the new bike:

I think I earned a cuppa after 70k of bends :freaky

The 1190 was flawless, I was lifted out of the saddle a few times when going over bumps and dips, the suspension coped perfectly. I had the suspension set for one person and street, comfort might have been a better option - next time !

The fuel injection is flawless, no surging of any kind. I should have luggage and a gps in the next few weeks then I can travel a little further from home.

Did the very same road about an hour ago, now on the ferry where I'm sure the crossing will be smoother!:D

You can't beat Lynams of laragh, the hostel is 25 a night including beef and Guinness pie and a pint!!
