Splash Guard bulk buy. Interested?

I haven't put this in the Vendors section, because I though I'd let you all know what we're doing on the 1200 Forum and ask if any of the 650 and 800 twin riders are interested in this.

These are very similar to the Mudsling that fits on the 1200GS's but it's much better priced and made for the GS twins.

I can't give a final price yet, as this depends on the amount of interested persons. I'm looking to get about 80-100 orders together between you guys and the 1200 riders to be able to satisfy their minimum order.

The Splash Guard for the 650/800's is $66.81 which is £43.05 Add £19.00 Customs and another £12.00 postage from the States gives a total of £74.05 This is a rough estimate of the likely cost of buying one Splash guard and having it posted to the UK. If we can generate enough interest I'm sure I can give every one a better price 'though don't quote me on that'

I'd be up for one of those. I already bought a fender extender from Nippy's for the front, and was thinking about a hugger for the rear, that looks like a neat piece of kit.

Yeh, we're all with you on the price. If this comes off I'll do my best to give you all the best price I can.

Bear in mind though that the only available option of this kind in the UK and Europe is the Mudsling that also only fits the 1200GS and retails for over £100.00.

Keep posting your interest and maybe we can get value for money, instead of having to comply with the monopoly.

Oh! you better mark me as wrong on this one then . I didn't see the 800 version when I was looking.

Like you mention, still going to be at least £25.00 cheaper if you buy at full retail plus import costs etc.

I also have the go ahead from Maier. All that remains now is to get the quantities and costs sorted.

Not 100% sure of the end price just yet as I don't know what the postage will be. But I'm hoping they will be under £70.00

I won't know for definate till I have all the costs confirmed this end. It seems that everybody between here and the supplier will be adding their 'little' fee.

I'll post more when I know.

However I do know that there will be ten 650/800 Splash Guards available on a first come basis. If you'd like to reserve one let me know and I'll put you on the list. Don't forget to tell me which bike you want it for.

would you consider sending one to the UAE? Maier quoted $75 plus item cost to send one to UAE!! I've recently had a jacket sent from Europe, bulky package weighing 3kgs and was charged €15.90. This was through a mix of DHL and the local Empost. Posted on 13/01 collected on 20/01. I'd be interested if this could be arranged.
