you don't need to carry a whole rocker cover when its only the corner that gets holed.

Its for people that travel a bit further than the chip shop

you silly man.

buy a tube of quicksteel and i´m your fathers brother as it were. Only Germans seem to sarry rockers covers. I holed one in the alps last year.

I've always used araldite mixed with cotton wool, covers huge holes/gaps.

One good thing about it being split - water that normally sits on top until you take it off (thus dumping the water and dirt on the rockers) would leak away.

But the best bit about it is that the10mm nuts at each end are now gone - see the allen screw that now goes where the stud was? Well the nuts are now fixed to the head.
