I noticed last time I did the valves and TBs that the bike wasn`t quite as smooth as it used to be. Almost, but not quite. I had done everything just the same as usual so put it down to the fact that the old girl is getting on having just past the 100K mark. When I did them yesterday I noticed that the right hand TB bung (the thing you remove to attached the balancer tube) had a couple of splits in it. I have temporarily taped it up whilst I await new ones but the bike is now smoother than a smooth thing so I reckon that bung was the cause.
