Spoked wheels

Hi Just picked up my New Gs, from the dealer. After good look around it I noticed that the spoked wheels I ordered for it is a bit strange.

By strange I mean that I think the rim is a tubed rim , as I could not find the Tubeless inprint anywere on the Rim (which I had on my previous 08 model) plus the "air nozzel" looked like it was tubed. s it had a rubber bit sticking out from the rim??

I asked the dealer and he insured me that these are tubeless , but I still doubt this.... and said that all GS are fitted with Tubeless rims?? I checked all the rims in the show room , all of the spoke wheels had "tubeless " in printed on the rim except mine..


can anyone put some light on this matter?

Mine are tubeless on my '08. The rim has no mention of this but they are tubeless none the less. As far as the valve is concerned, do you have Tyre Pressure Monitors fitted? In which case there's a fairly wide section which comes out of the rim, then there's a bolt and finally the threaded column. Is that what you are seeing?

my rims dont have anything on them but the tyres have tubless on them.

well then its probably just me being to picky..

oh FFS look at your friggin wheels, you will notice that the spokes are on the outer rim of the wheel, this eliminates the holes in the rim normally associated with spoked wheels

this is a superb invention, it allows tubeless tyres to be run and

most important



you can change a broken spoke without removing the tyre
