I have added spoke wheels to my 1200wc just because I like the look of them.but I have never owned a gs before is there any difference in the feel compared to cast on the current bike

The wire wheels are heavier than the cast ones with everything that implies in terms of acceleration, braking and handling. I've had both and the spokes are a bugger to keep clean.
Whauraboots in the Kingdom - Ah cannae mind if ye said....?[/
I might drop them from the order then no point making life any harder when it comes to cleaning the wc!

I have had 7 GS's all with spokes, none have corroded, non have buckled, they are a piece of piss to clean, when you get use to them, and they have less effect on handling than the difference between an 11stone and 16 Stone rider, after all its not a bloody Fireblade. They also look the dogs bollocks, it is after all an adventure bike, and from my experience they do add value when selling.![]()
