HOW ARE WE DOING COLLECTING THE CASH?

I'VE FINISHED, TOTAL £863.55

CLIMBING THE MOUNTAINS WAS THE EASY BIT!!

ARE WE GOING TO POOL ALL THE PROCEEDS, OR SEND 'EM IN INDIVIDUALLY??

OOPS

SHOULD POINT OUT THAT ALL PROCEEDS GO TO:

CANCER RESEARCH UK
BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION

50/50

.... AND NOT MY BEER FUND

Hi, I still havent colledted all the cash, half the sponsors seem to be on holiday!(yeah right!)
Dunno, what do you reckon?

Did the Ben again the other week, I remembered my sun lotion, and it pissed down!!

Hi Guys,
I've collected all my meagre offering, just finished this week. Now all I need is an address to send it to.

BTW Andy, there is a chance I may be up your way in a week or two, SWMBO fancies a cottage on the Isle of Skye for a week. Just waiting for the Army to decided when and where it is going to send our son before we organise it.

I suggest we send in our offerings individually, tying them up with the one event name. How about an original little number like:

UK GS CLUB 3 NATIONAL PEAKS CHALLENGE 2003

I'll post the addresses of the 2 charities on this thread later. Would be good to know what our combined total is tho.

:beerjug:

PS Anyone fancy Crib Goch, Snowdon in Sept/Oct? Dependant on the weather of course ...

here we go ...

BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION
4 BRIDGE STREET
TADCASTER
NORTH YORKS

TEL 01937 835421

CANCER RESEARCH UK
PO BOX 123

Sorry Boys, been on me hols for a while.
Sending them seperately is fine. The main thing being that the charities get the cash, not that we get a smug, didn't we do well feeling. I will ask them to tally up the totals, so some of us who didn't manage that much, with smaller congregations to blag from, won't feel too shamed.
I'm sure it will top the £2000 mark which is great for 5 of us.
If anyone else reads this and feels isolated by not 'giving' to a good cause, please feel free to PM us or send a cheque to either of the above quoting the event title.
Cheers Dave Boulder

Fair comment remember that I've got a helpless captive audience here!! Anythings better than nothing, shame shouldn't come into it, and we all had an excellent weekend to boot.

Absolutely, don't forget you sponsor form with the postcode updated for the 28p in the pound tax back claim. Most of my sponsors put the works address and postcode which apparently doesn't count so i now have a few very genrous sponsors who gave between £40 and £50 each. At least the charity gets the extra cash.
Ireland sounded like a top trip?
dAVE

Ireland - a great tour, weather similar to that of Mt Snowdon that day - and we were camping, no B&Bs:(

Great war stories tho!

Went for my 3rd part of the 4 part attempt at my job move so when i know one way or the other, we'll start some plans for next years jaunt oop north?
3 biggies in the nw scotland seems a good'un.
I'll keep you and Dennis/andy/sean posted
