Not sure if this is the right place for this but i'd thought i'd give you the heads up on sportouring.com
I purchased a migsel mount from them at £94.99 plus posting which was £9.99 for recorded delivery.
13 days now and no mount.
1st phone call he said he sent it out the day i bought it but would send another. i thought this was generous at 95 quid a throw. however none came.
i phoned again and this time he said he would call me back with the tracking number. no call and now every time i phone this guy its an answerphone.

I would be interested if anyone else has dealings with them or if the guys on the forum could give this guy some stick.
I have now purchased a mount elsewhere and it came within 1 day.
 
I've used them for powerlet purchases.

Didn't have a problem.

Sorry to hear of your woes though...

Have to say always had top service from them. When I bought a pair of Scala rider G4's Mike sent them out on a promise that I would pay for them when I got payed. Never met the bloke but with that trust in me I would always go back.
 
sounds odd

then i cant get sorted. I havent shouted at him or even left him negative feedback yet. cant get through on the phone and his postal description says recorded delivery so i cant understand why he cant supply a tracking number.
will try again monday but its been going on since 11th may. and i now have another mount.:(
 
I was up his shop today and found out that Mike is on holidays at the moment, think he's back at end of the week and the guy there at the moment says he's been rushed off his feet since mikes been away.I've bought a lot off stuff from these over the years and never had a problem, always found that mike will bend over backwards to help you. That is just my opionion from a happy customer.:beerjug:

i;m £105 down at the moment and no one there can be bothered.
as far as i'm concerned they are not a good company.

23 times on friday, answerphone on each occasion.
Left a message but no call back.
Good job i paid with paypal, have registered a non delivery with them so hopefully will get a refund.
 
bought some gripp puppys from them a couple of weeks ago apart from them taking over a week to arrive, No real issues:)
 
Also

used them quite a few times, bought a pair of Scala G4'S off him a few weeks back and they arrived the next day. I'd speak to the man himself if I were you. He's always been fine when I've dealt with him.
 
I ordered a screen first week of last month and was quoted a 2.5 week delivery; still waiting.

I chased the order one time and was told it had been despatched to me.

Well if you end up getting a refund etc... just order it direct from migsel... the mount is the same figure but in euros and free postage........

Oly, I know the owner Mike, he has taken a well earnt break and has No1 future son-in-law in charge. :blast

I suggest you call and speak to Mike, I am unsure as to when he returns.
 
I have visited the shop and bought some stuff from Mike, and he is one of the nicest guys I have done business with. It seems as those left in charge during his hols may have screwed up a little here, and it would be a real shame for Mikes good reputation to be undermined by this.

I am sure he will get it sorted for you. :thumb

Hi Oly, this is Mike from Sportouring. I'm sorry that you appear to have not recieved the service you deserve. I will speak with my employee tomorrow (Monday) and get to the bottom of it for you.

I'm out of the country for another week and I know that it's been very busy at the shop with the launch of Wunderlich products in our range (hows that for timing!)

We pride our self on good customer service Oly but I am the first to admit that we are not perfect. When we do make a cockup, I try to put things right as quickly as possible.

When I've spoken with Ian at the shop tomorrow, I'll make sure you get a full refund if it's not been done already. I'll also pop some of our Blue-job polish in the post for you to try on me of course.

the shop phone seems to be permanently engaged so i presume the guy is mowed under.
Most people on here think you are a decent guy and that seems to be the case.
A refund would be great as i bought a mount elsewhere.
Your guy said he would ring me with a tracking number for the mount but didnt so i thought i was onto a lost cause.
I will get this thread removed also!

Why remove the thread, as it proves Mike is a nice person to deal with.

But then I never for one minute thought otherwise.
