id like to fit some led spot lights to my 2017 rallye sport, can these be wired in the old fashioned way via a relay to the baterry and an ignition live for the trigger wire ?.

or is the canbus going to screw it all up

No you can wire from the battery via switch and relay, no problem at all, wiring harness off fleebay and all fine or to be super safe, wire off an ignition switch feed and never worry about leaving em on. Or go super duper ez cam and be proper impressed with the results.
