Spotted this bike (same as mine) on the MG Club UK FB page.
This was a £13k list bike, absolute bargain at £7999 for someone. Mistral exhaust is around £700 alone + luggage and other extras + the stock parts.

Hell tempting though - cause has all accessories I’d buy anyway 🤔

Well get a local tosser to go see it for you and if it is what it is, buy it and sell something 🤷 😄 the MG Club guys tend to be very honest chaps.

Agreed, if he has been a member for a decent period of time, and he's advertising it to fellow members, it's less likely to be an inaccurate description.

Thanks, I've read the post and all the comments and I'm not much wiser.!
🤔🙄😉😁

Where does it take place? Dent near Sedbergh, Lake District I'm assuming. When? 1200 midday to 1200 midday?

What campsites are people staying at?

Where, and when, are the rendezvous points for ride outs, meals, etc..?

Do people make their own way up there, or get together in lumps and clumps from different areas of the country?

Any additional information would be appreciated.

Hi Peter, it's nothing formal. Folk turn up in Dent, yes it is Dent near Sedbergh. Although Dent is officially in Cumbria it's more Yorkshire Dales. They either camp, usually at High Laneing campsite, or book in a B&B. Some folks turn up on Friday, some Saturday. Some may stay Fri,Sat,Sun night , others may stay just one night. There are only two pubs in Dent. If it's a nice evening folk will most probably be sat in the beer garden in the Sun inn. Someone will usually lead a ride out on the Saturday around the local area.
As I say, it's nothing formal. A few beers with like minded folk and a run around the stunning Yorkshire dales. Just ask if anyone has seen any 'Tossers' they'll either welcome you with open arms or give you a strange look. No rendezvous points, just arrange where to meet (usually at the camp site) the night before.
I'll make it easy for you Peter, I'll wear a blue Moto Guzzi T shirt. But if it's coolish I might have a jumper on. Only kidding... You'll find us.

It's a very laid back informal affair now since the organised Micky arranged events of previous years. People just turn up over the weekend, I normally arrive lunch time ish, some book into the Sun Inn as have me and Stu (Brut33) some might book a room at the George and Dragon, some camp at the campsite just outside the village centre. Many of us eat at the George and Dragon in the evening, best pre booking a table. There's a couple of cafes in the village where you can get breakfast and lunch.
Usually there's a ride out somewhere, last time Austin took a group of us over to Slaidburn and Hawes, some prefer to go and do their own thing. Some stay in the village and go between the two boozers If it's pissing down I'll probably spend Saturday testing beer quality in the boozers. As I mentioned earlier it's now very much an informal affair, there's no official organisation, but it worked well last year. Just bring plenty of beer vouchers. When you arrive you'll no doubt see a few of us in the back yard/beer garden of the Sun Inn, just introduce yourself and join the banter.
No doubt the details of a Saturday ride will be cobbled together in the pub on Friday, last time we headed out about 10.30. and returned for early doors about 4.30pmish.
Most folk head for home on Sunday, the odd few stay over on Sunday night.
