Spring 2012 Le HOG Roast...

Could you tell us where in brittany, I have a brother near there, so could I meet up and ride etc if you in the area?.:confused:
 
Been away working... annoying how it gets in the way of posting shite on here!! Ok dates I'll have a look Friday and try to avoid school shite/half term/etcetc plan was thursday night out Sunday evening back!! I'll post some suggestions by the weekend .. As for locality... inland from central north coast near Loudeac.. Nearest hamlet is Plessala.. Rural location about 26 miles from coast 45 to st Malo and about 150 to Cherbourg for return!! Before we all book ferries etc I'll pm you a booking code which will get you around a 10% discount not much but will buy some beers!!

I live about ten minutes from ferry near the A3M so we could meet up at my house do a large pile of fish and chips then go down en-mass let the French boys lash up the Harleys and get a few beers in!!

returning Sunday the 20th May on the evening fast cat from Cherbourg.....

I think that will be OK for me, need to check re the Friday when i get back to work on 31st.

Just checked the crossing prices and pleasantly surprised! £150 all in inc a cabin!
 
I should be OK for those dates. Not sure which route to take yet, i may tunnel and ride.
Easter is april 6th -9th when i could be on a dash in morocco. Not on the harley.

I'll be going via Portsmouth St Malo on the evening crossing and coming back on the fast cat sunday evening from Cherbourg. For the independent tunnellers I'll provide last mile directions later!!

We are full!.....

Ok, we have a full compliment for the trip.. (Size of house limitations, there is though a campsite (camping municipal) about 2 miles away !! for any "OVERFLOW"

So, The dates are Thursday 17th May out, Portsmouth to St Malo, evening ferry around 20:00 returning on Sunday the 20th May Cherbourg to Portsmouth Fast Cat... Arrives back in Portsmouth around 21:30ish..

We will make the rest up as we go....
