At some stage this week, maybe even this evening, my pc will be getting every programme removed from it to have just the key programmes re loaded. Basicly a spring clean. What I'd like to know is how can I save all my bookmarked websites?

Anyone able to help please?

Ta

I presume you mean Internet Explorer - File/Import-Export then Export Favourites - choose a file - then you can "Import" from that file later.

IE?

file>import export & follow the wizard.

or

my computer>C:>file named after whoever windows is registered to>copy favourites file [it's star shaped]

Not sure I understand what you're on about. Are you telling me that if I save my favourites this way they'll remain on my C drive irrespective of what happens re my operating system being removed and reloaded?

export them somewhere safe: cd, another pc, webspace etc.

NOTHING will be left once you format C:
