ok got a question, my forks have got marzo shiver internals but are still a bit lacking, has anyone put a thicker fork oil or increased the volume of oil to make them firmer? did it once on a yam xt with good results. thanks in advance.

yeah....relatively easy. get forks on the bench undo the top nut tip upside-down drain out the oil and refill.
my old mate used to do them but now retired. was going to try a thicker oil if anyone knew or has done it.!!!

Not easy then.... how do I support the bike? Where is the bench? I have to do it at the side of the road....

Think I’ll get through the warmer months and then send forks and shock to Denzo/T-Tech in the winter.

I think most have missed the OPs' request that it needs be done at the side of the road....

@Ratibus
Lie the old girl down matey.
It will give her a rest too.

just going back to my original post.....has anyone put heavier oil in there forks or increased the volume slightly 🤔

Yes after cleaning all the *** out; I found that it was a bit better but a long way from proper suspension so, went to a pro for cartridges and full rebuild front and rear. Best decision ever.
