Sprockets

Ive used a 3 leg puller and snapped it, so I borrowed a 2 leg from a local independent and that still wont get it off. heat is a big no no so when its worn down Im gonna have to take it to my independent to get off..The thing is I love doing everything myself...

1st impressions after fitting a 17T front sprocket . . . . . .

far less snatchy at low revs

means 30mph in town is sub 3k revs in 3rd gear, which means some adjustment to throttle control

drops the revs in 6th marginally, with 4k revs = 64mph on gps (60mph on standard 16T sprocket)

not done too long a run as it's fecking cold just now up here, so can't comment on fuel consumption . . .

But so far, so good :thumb2

+1
I fitted a 17T front back in June, done about 4,000 miles on it and well happy with it, especially pulling away in low gears and less buzzy at motorway speeds :)
