Looking for a bit more wisdom from the collective please :)

I usually wear earplugs so have never noticed before but having fitted one of Bryn's stubby exhaust pipes I rode without them the other day to see just how different the bike sounded. All was fine in that department but I was very surprised that my clutch lever squeaks very loudly when operated.

Is a quick squirt of WD40 appropriate or is there a similar product that the collective would recommend ???

i put grease on mine, putting a small country on your lever may make it stick, and feck ur petrol consumption up,may cause probs with tire life and cornering:bounce1

What a wonderful selection of "collective wisdom":augie

If it's dried out and squeeking it may be better to remove the lever first and do some cleaning. Then re-assemble with whichever recommendation you prefer from the above. I would use a spot of high melting point grease:thumb

Mind you if you use Greece it may obscure your forward vision:D
