Joe that seems like a nice little town for a one night stay after the Tunnel.

I normally stay at the Ibis in Coquelles but over the last few years it feels like an armed camp so thanks for an alternative.

St Valery

As above, great little town, loads of places to stay/eat, has a connection with Joan of Arc and has a (seasonal) steam railway with trips around the bay! A good and near area to explore and worth a couple of days:thumb2Cheers:beerjug:John B

Oh ibis not nice. Try montreiul sur mer. 45 min south and lots of places discounted on booking dot com. Happy to give you some personal recommendations for biker friendly with secure car parking and awesome food.

Joe I am always open to suggestions.

This would be for the car trip with my wife. Long story short she doesn't like long sea journeys so it's a ferry to Scotland drive down England and Tunnel that night. When we go by bike we go what ever way suits us as she doesn't like the bike.
