Stained Panniers

My panniers and top box are stained with i think an over strong solution of trf i have searched the threads but havent come up with anything
the colours seem to be silver and a slight rusty appearance in streaks i cant work out if the trf has cleaned them or stained them
any ideas

mine are stained from the guts of many a dead insect... never cleaned them except for a quick blast with the hose...

TFR is dangerous stuff , when you look at it you may think you have stained
and indeed , it looks like it.
But in Fact what you have probably done is Burn it .
TFR is an Acid , thats basically how it works .
You may well get away with washing it again with the same concentration
though.
