had a leaking fuel line and as a result the silver coating on the engine is now badly stained ,anyone no a way of removing said nasty mark ,other than repaint???tried t-cut and murr polish , wont touch the stuff

No, as far as I'm aware the yellow staining is a bugger to remove.

Steptoe had some stuff that did remove it apparently, but I think it was some specialist aviation chemical.
