Stalling bike on downshifts

the new R1300GS blips the throttle for you on downshifts

doing anything else is slower, jerky or just riding late to the party with the likelihood of a skittish back wheel for sensible no reason (other than a lack of talent on the rider's seat)

“Blipping” the throttle and throttle control aren’t the same thing.. :D

Does the 1250 do that?
never noticed any BMW do that before - Oz review slagged of the assist on the R1300, but it was light years better than any other BW "shift assist" setup I've suffered - and the blip saved the box getting trashed using a feature that shouldn't be there

my 2010 1200 did the same, stuttered on downshifts. I was told its normal, you're a new member, you cant ride, dont do it etc etc. I gave up on that and replaced the Lamda sensor. Sorted it till it happened again. If you're an experienced rider, don let the negative comments change what you know to be true by their perceptions of your riding style!

Thank you,
Been riding and racing a while……just new to the boxer!
Seems like there may be a lambda/ throttle position sensor issue…….will investigate and hope that solves it.
Cheers
