Stand alone display screen help

I need a stand alone 26" display screen
I need it to play jpg's in a repeat mode preferably with presentable fades
Better still Mpeg movies, but again need to be in a constant loop
OR built in DVD in a constant repeat loop

Does anyone have any suggestions how this can be done or what equipment to use?

I went into Curry's today and the salesmen said that some new Samsungs play mpegs from a usb stick, but were not sure about precise details or about a repeat mode.

You might find that a bog standard 26" monitor with a very basic (and cheap) laptop strapped to the back, you have all the options you need then, and probably cheaper than a plush high-end Samsung.
