standard GSA specifications

Quick question, does he standard GSA come with engine crash bars and fog spotlights? The pannier frames are extra but standard on the TE?

Also, are the GSA pannier frames the same part as fitted to the standard GS?

In brief - the standard bike comes with the engine and tank crash bars. The foglights are an option. The GS Adventure pannier frames are unique to that bike. The GS doesn't use frames to mount the panniers.

Don't think they will on the LC bikes as exhausts are on different sides of the bike now. However I may be wrong, but that's what dealer told me as I wanted GSA panniers for my GS

Yes.....

Also the rear footpeg hangers are different from the GS to the GSA.

That would merit further investigation. The extension on the pillion footrest hanger is one of the mounts for the vario panniers on the GS. It might, potentially foul the Adventure panniers. If so, it'd be necessary to swap the pillion footrest hangers for those from the Adventure.
