Hi folks, Anybody know how to tell the difference between a low seat and a regular one? Maybe a stupid question but mines (55plate) feels harder and lower than my last gs on a 05plate and my mates on a 07plate, just compared it with 3 others that were in a shed of a guy i know and they all looked the same....
Numbers on underside of my seat are 5253-7 667 720
668833 10

Any help or waffles would be great...

Well I know that on the Adventure standard seat you have a two position option achieved by moving the metal bar located under the seat. But if you buy the low seat option their is no adjustment. So if the standard GS seat has this same ajustment option and the one you have has no ajustment then you may well have the low seat option. But I suppose if the standard seat has no adjustment then it would be down to measuring the seat height and comparing the measurements with the tec. data.:jibber

Take the seat off and look underneath. The standard has two hight options, the low only has one.

If your feet reach the ground easier, I'd say it was a low seat. That said, as suggsted in the earlier reply, there is no height adjustment on the low seat. Should only take you a second to check!

Well my seat has got two height positions but my feet touch the ground fine, so i'm now thinking that the previous owner has had some padding taken out or something like that..
Thanx folks..
