Hi, I bind the Zumo 660 and the BT-GO unit ok, and it works ok for a while. But then on some occasions ( and I cant pin point the reason) , the Zumo reports the Blue Tooth connection failed.
The bottom line is I have been tying all sorts and am now at the stage where I decide if it is ever going to work.
So the key here is if your friends one works reliably then at least I know it can work and I will persist.

Spoke to Craig with the same set up as your but with a Garmin 550 rather than the 660. He tells me the connection drops out for him too! Not often but he has a few problems, also mention that two other blue tooth kits gave him some problems so not sure what to make of it!
It seems that many people have no problems at all and the unit works fine and other have had real problems. If i had a choice with a Garmin 660 i would hard wire an Autocom Logic unit into the sat nav and have your music and phone work via the Garmin! But of course i fit many autocom units so i would say they work the best but you cant beat the music sound or reliability of a hard wired system. Thats in MHO Many other swear by the systems they use!
