Starcom on GSA

On my 1150GS I mountd the Starcom in the tool box under the seat. Just aquired an 1150GSA and have had to put it in the tank bag. I couldn't think/find another place to locate it. Anyone got any ideas??

I located my Autocom under the seat in place of the tool kit which now travels in my top box. Easily accessable and to date it has not given me any problems. 02 GSA.

My Starcom is fixed to the top of the airbox just behind the tank. Fits nicely under the seat no issues, I use two short extenders one goes back right and one comes out by the tank to allow easy access.

Fitted my Starcom Advance (NEC purchase) behing the tank just in front of the seat. There was a handy bracket plus elastic band which suited the job perfectly. As I purchased the GS second hand I don't know if this is standard or if the previous owner put it there for the same purpose.

Prevous owner must have left it there, I thought of there on both my GS's but the battery lead is in the way, have just mounted mine under the seat in place of the toolkit seems ok so far, just wonder if it may need waterproofing?
