Well we must be getting close to summer
Came home tonight past the Scotch Piper pub in Lydiate on the A5147 Maghull to Scarisbick road (Lancashire to those not in the know)
Plenty of bikes there for the Wednesday night meet unsual for this earlybut it wasnt raining !!!!

Sadly when I had got 4-5 miles further on, there it it is first one of the year - bike & car gone head on. 2 lads damaged (Dont know how bad)on the bike. Loads of blue flashing lights & HI-vis jackets.
2 families will have had the unexpected phonecall/visit and the hurt that goes with it. Hopefully the damage isn't terminal

So the message is 'Lets be careful out there'

yip i second that.

hence one of my many reasons for buying a GS..
i'm happy just doing slow speeds on it and thus giving me time to look out for others on the road.

i rather hope these guys turn out to be ok and only minor damage .

Two less to be in my way on the twisties as far as I`m concerned.

Yes,all the seasonal riding knobbers and feckwits will soon be out again.

Much as I love meeting up at the scotch et al, the nobbers do ruin it - The hen and chickens seems to be a baiting ground for the cops these days - ooh i'll pull a wheelie out the car park just to see if they WILL follow me.
Yet another reason for the purchase of my life the faithful GS!
