Will a Bosch starter motor from an R80 G/S fit a 1989 paralever GS?

I think all starter motors from /5 to last of airheads are interchangeable.
Just different makes

R1100RS with GS modifications GS paralever strut, GS type bars with GS handgaurds and GS crashbars, Remus system, KnN, GS intake tubes, Avon Roadrider tyres (just changed back from Distanzia) and 120 litres of pannieridge, Home made 3 inch bore stubby exhaust to go onto Remus mid box Just perfect for Dublin traffic PIAA spots and 3 inch position lamps modified to take 21w halogens, low voltage ABSII modification done and optional ABS on Off switch not a BMW option whilst moving Mine IS! BAsically due to scaring the BehJaysus out of meself on a muddy lane 6 months ago When the ABS kept kicking in and I couldn;t get stopped

Grrrr is right, thats looks very interesting.

I'm arranging to get it down to my mechanic here to install new starter bushes. Unfortunately the first attempt at this failed after it was discovered that some previous owner had already changed the starter motor and that the bushes were the wrong ones. Even with the battery booster connected it still only turns over real slow. In the meantime I have a loan of an 1150 adv until saturday so it's not all bad.

Nope standard K100RT screen which was broken at the base at a corner I cut it to shape and fitted it
